Demanganisers

Manganese found in groundwater behaves similarly to iron. It causes similar issues such as turbidity, unpleasant taste, and black manganese hydroxide deposits. Water containing more than 0.05 mg/L of manganese should be treated.

The technical-technological solution represents the most up-to-date and modern method currently used for manganese removal from water.

This method is widely applied in practice and is based on the properties of the internal filter media—green manganese sand—which effectively reduces the manganese content in the treated water, resulting in improved water quality.
