Water disinfection

Water plays a significant role and holds a special place in human life and health. Sanitarily and technologically treated water is used for drinking, food preparation, industrial and economic needs, energy supply, heating, cooling, irrigation, navigation and fish farming, tourism, and recreation. When carried out properly and continuously, along with other sanitary and technical measures, water disinfection completely protects against the possibility of various waterborne diseases (such as typhoid, paratyphoid, dysentery, etc.), which can often develop into epidemics.
